Hello, i was wondering which GPU is better?

The GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 Video Graphics Card or the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650Ti Boost 2GB GDDR5?

Yes, it would be a crazy upgrade. The HD 7970 performs about 180% faster than the HD 7750. But what is the rest of your rig ? You'll need a CPU that won't bottleneck it, and also a PSU that will support it.

and i dont remember what CPU i have 😛

I would hope the 7970 is better it cost twice as much as the GTX 650 Ti boost.
How much money do you want to spend $150 or $300+? If your want something new just under $300 I would get the GTX 760.

Your CPU might bottleneck this GPU. Your motherboard is an AM3, which is getting a bit old. Even the newest AMDs CPU are just the bare minimum for that kind of card. Either you get a lower end card, or you buy a new CPU/Motherboard combo, and at this point, you might as well just build an entire new rig. I can't really suggest you a specific card if I don't know the exact CPU that you have.

In your case, it would just be much better to build an entire new PC. There might be some parts that you can reuse in your old one, so you could probably get a good one for around $600.

Hmm will this system be good for gaming? what fps will it get at 720p?
