Hello, i was wondering which GPU is better?

The GIGABYTE GV-R797OC-3GD Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 Video Graphics Card or the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650Ti Boost 2GB GDDR5?

thanks.

well i have a 500w PSU

and i dont remember what CPU i have 😛

if it helps my motherboard is a M4N68T-M V2

Your CPU might bottleneck this GPU. Your motherboard is an AM3, which is getting a bit old. Even the newest AMDs CPU are just the bare minimum for that kind of card. Either you get a lower end card, or you buy a new CPU/Motherboard combo, and at this point, you might as well just build an entire new rig. I can't really suggest you a specific card if I don't know the exact CPU that you have.
What is the brand of your PSU ?

Ok well my PSU is a cooler master (Discontinued)

I remember the CPU
Its an Athalon II X2 or something like that

Remember the one you designed for me?

the 600$ one?
Would that system be able to have a 7970?
