Which is better

hy guys, i prepare for my next upgrade...
for you, which is best between this CPU's
FX-6300 or i5 3470 ? i know that i5 3470 is better but its more costly than FX-6300 and i see some review, FX-6300 is just about 3-5% worse than i5 3470 ($190 cpu vs $120 cpu) but i still confused

and its set-up is safe for my PSU?

HD 6870
8GB RAM (4X2)
1 HDD 500GB
1 DVD-RW
6 USB
450W corsair VS450

im in limited budget if i go for FX-8xxx or i5 greater than 3470 im affraid that my money isnt enough...

I would go for the i5, it's also more efficient when it comes to power usage. The FX 6300 is more power hungry. Though both cpus would run on a 450w psu.

yea, ill take the i5, but i think 15 4570 (haswell) is more worth to buy than the i5 3470...
