is theres difference between pentium g3258 and i3 4000 series? in gaming , i know i3 has hyper threading but its useless in games ,

Depends on the games, some games will take advantage of hyper threading and in another post there was one user saying there is one game that wont even play with anything less then an i3

the i3 is the better option, since it has hyperthreading it acts as a quad core for games, some games like Farcry 3 and Dragon age inquisition dont even work unless you have at least an i3 or a quad core.

Perosnally I like the g3258 more as its 40$ cheaper and performs about the same.
