Which is better?

I don't really know much about laptop hardware, but I was hoping one of you lovely people could help me in deciding which is better in all around for gaming and just normal use.

I plan on using it for university, along with medium gaming.

First one: Laptop 1

Second one: Laptop 2

The first model (Acer) is better in performance than the second model because of the Intel i5 CPU and 8 gigs of ram.

Nothing special, league, runescape, just small games. I mainly will use it as just casual gaming, watching videos, nothing special. Which would you recommend hang?

Something like LOL will run on either of them, just not at high quality or high frame rates.

The Acer with the i5 is faster.

So do you recommend me getting the Acer? I kinda thought about getting that one myself, but if you could link me to any other ones, under the Canadian price, I'd gladly check it out!
