The CX430 V3 units definitely aren't garbage. They are simply mediocre. As for the actek, no proffesional reviews were found and couldn't find many of any of their PSUs online.
Better to go with the CX430 out of those two.

Also, PSUs aren't like memory... You can cheap out on memory, not on PSUs. Near, lay all memory on the market is created by three manufacturers which still have very tight performance. As long as the memory specs are up to desired, price and aesthetics are fine, the memory is good.

Every time ive gone cheap on memory it would only last the quarter of the time as a big name brand would.

That's probably just the chances, or a specific issue to the model, not the brand. Most of the time, the cheaper ram are from big brand names anyhow. How many times have you gone cheap on memory and how many have you bough 'big name brand' memory? There will always be a chance of DOA no matter the brand/model.

If anyone really wants to go deep on main memory, find out why, which and how some are more reliable/more compatible, and in general how it works, read here: https://pcpartpicker.com/forums/topic/225588-main-memory-a-primer
