Hey i want to know which is better for gaming an lrx 460 + i5-2400 +6gb Ram vs gtx 1050 + i3-2100 + 8gb ram which is better for playing titles such as rocket league overwatch and fortnite btw they are both the same price

I'd take the Rx 460 with the i5-2400. While a GTX 1050 is a little faster than an Rx 460. An i5-2400 is much faster than an i3-2100. You can play any game with the Rx 460 which you can with the GTX 1050. However, there are some games which will play fine on the i5-2400 which will be unplayable on an i3-2100.

The only issue with the i5-2400 is 6GB RAM. The games you list should run fine on 6GB. You can get a used 4GB DDR3 module on eBay for pretty cheap. Just make sure it isn't registered or ECC.

i5 is a good chip for what it is the i3 will struggle more with newer games
