I'm considering buying a chromebook but I HATE any type of lag. I don't care care about the screen or how bland the laptop looks, touchscreen, etc. I just want to have a ton of tabs open/drive, use google play apps, and play music.
Occasionally run a movie while connected to a TV.
I've been looking at the Asus flip c302 and lenovo 500e.
Also dont want to pay over $500.
So which processor is better? Intel N3450 or Core M3-6Y30

Solution
Celeron is slightly newer and has 4 cores and 4 threads, and supports up to 8GB of RAM.
The m3-6Y30 is a hyperthreaded dual core, little older, and has 100% more Cache, and supports up to a max of 16GB of RAM

It seems like they can both boost up to 2.2Ghz but I am unsure on the Celeron, I see one thing stating Burst Frequency 2.2Ghz, but Support Turbo Boost Tech = No

Also keep in mind the mfgr can configure the TDP limits for either of these chips and make them perform at slower clock rates.
