I wish t buy a 3.2Ghz core i5 but i am confused which graphics card should be best for gaming. I have seen many cards but SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280 3GB and MSI NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960 GAMING 2GB are in my budget. In my region these cards prices are really close(GTX-960 has a little higher price rate) so i don't know what to do, Should i buy a 3GB dual-x r9 280 or 2GB Geforce GTX 960 for gaming. Can please someone give me some advice in this matter? and also can someone tell me how much power supply should i buy with these graphics cards?

Solution
The 960 will be better in pretty much every metric. It'll perform better, use less power and thus less heat.

If the R9 was the 280X, then it would perform slightly better than the 960, however it would draw more power and be hotter than the 960.

The 280 has more memory, but these cards performance slots them into the 1080p resolution and 2GB in most games is enough.

^ pretty much what techgeek said.
With a 960 a decent 400w psu is enough easily.
The 280 you're looking at a 500w.
Pity they didn't up the memory on the 960 IMO,it is its only slight weakness.I would go for it over the 280 I think,If you could squeeze a 280x into your budget it would be the best option though.

Edit - looking at benches now & the oc potential of the sapphire+ the fact you say its cheaper I'd probably veer towards that, fps differences are like 2-3fps on most titles max.
Yes it uses more power & runs hotter but not obscenely so.
