Question Which is the Best 2070?

Im looking to buy a RTX 2070 to upgrade from my GTX 1060 and want to know which one is the best for the amount of money it is, i am looking at the RTX 2070 XC ULTRA but it is the most money before i shoot for that specific GPU.

there will be maybe 2-5% difference between the bog standard 2070 and the super duper OC version, is that worth the extra cash to you. Consider waiting for the super version.

EVGA....well, in my opinion, at any rate, should be the vendor of choice.

I have their GeForce RTX 2070 (08G-P4-1071-KR), and it is a very capable card.

Cheapest from a good brand, or if you can afford the top flight 2070 get a bottom of range 2080.

In the UK the cheapest 2070 is 469 the most expensive is 599,but the cheapest 2080 is only 639. That extra 40 = 639-599 is going to get you a lot more than the 130= 599-469.

Completely agreed with 13thmonkey - the difference between them will be negligible in reality.

I tend to find that picking a GPU often comes down to budget, cooling and aesthetics. Most reputable cards (Gigabyte, MSI, ASUS etc.). all have good cooling solutions usually. If you get the one that fits your budget and you like aesthetically, you won't really go wrong IMO.

If you're going to spend a lot more money to get a specialised OC version of a card, you may as well spend more and get the next card up.
