Hi,

Which is the best RAM to go with. I would do a little high graphics gaming.

Ryzen 1300x CPU / GTX 1050 TI GC/ Asus B350M board

Corsair 16 GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz C16 XMP 2.0 Desktop Memory
Or
Ballistix Sport LT 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz 1.2V CL16 288pin UDIMM Gaming RAM Memory Module for Desktops
Or
HyperX Fury Black16 GB CL15 DIMM DDR4 2400 MT/s Internal Memory (HX424C15FB/16)

Also please advice if it is better to go with 28 GB sticks or 116 GB stick

Thanks.

If the 3000MHz kit will just 'work' when enabling XMP or DOCP, then the Corsair Vengeance kit is the "better" option for Ryzen.

However, first Gen ryzen had some compatibility issues, and you may not be able to achieve 3000MHz, maybe limited to 2800-2933MHz, and may even have to manually tune.

Provided you're not dropping CL to 18 or 19 to achieve the faster speeds (ie overclocking a 2133/2400MHz kit to near 3000) then the faster speeds will be beneficial and measurable.

2x8Gb 3000MHz C16.

Brand doesn't really matter, looks don't matter to anyone but you, the only thing that really matters is the fastest ram supported by your bios, in 2x 8Gb sticks in slots #2 and #4.

Asus has several B350M series boards, most support upto 3200MHz, but whether that's attainable or not is a gamble. Most ram in 1st gen Ryzen cpus only reached 2933MHz, you'd have to get 3200MHz C14 Samsung B-die to have any real chance at the full 3200MHz. And they aren't cheap.

Just make sure your bios is updated.
