The 4690K would be better because it's newer and it's based on Haswell Refresh.

A very small advantage to the 4690K.

If you do go for the 4690K, it is recommended you get a Z97 chipset motherboard.

There is no reason not to get the 4690K at this point.
Its the same base chip as the 4670K, just with some minor tweaks, marginally better performance, and better thermals and voltage controls.

Overall its the same cost, get the newer refresh model.
