Which is the better choice?

So, I got a Pentium G3420 3.2GHz CPU, and a Sapphire R7 250X Vapor-X OC 1GB GPU. I want to upragde. 1. opinion - buy an i3-4170 3.7GHz CPU and an Asus STRIX GTX 1050 OC 2GB GPU. 2. opinion - buy an i7-4790 3.60GHz CPU, and the "old" GPU is stay (the R7 250X.) Which opinion should I buy?

3. Buy a GTX 1060 3GB, Rx 480 4GB or Rx 580 4GB (depending on the pricing in your area). Use the current CPU until you save up your money. Then buy a used i7-4770 or 4790.

Are you willing to buy used? You could probably get an i5-4670 through i5-4690K and a GeForce GTX 770 4GB within your budget. I'm assuming you are looking at new prices right now.

Assuming your PSU can handle a GTX 770.

Yeah, the GTX 770 is a bit high card for my PSU, and in my country it's a much expensive in used too.

How do the used prices of the i5 compare to the new prices of the i3? If you could get a used i5 and new GTX 1050. You would have something decent for gaming.

The used i5 is expensive too, sadly. I don't want to play games on Ultra Battlefield 1. I want to play DayZ or ArmA 3, Rainbow Six Siege on Medium graphics settings.
