Hi,
Just finalising a custom build on a website.
RYZEN 5 5600X
GTX 6GB 1660 SUPER
GIGABYTE AORUS ELITE AX V2 MOTHERBOARD
BE QUIET PURE ROCK 2 CPU COOLER
2 X 8 GB STICKS OF 3200MHZ RAM
1 X 250GB WD BLUE NVME SSD
1 X 1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA HDD

Trying to keep within my budget. Which PSU would suffice. I believe I will only draw about 400W. The PSU,s listed under 650W are mainly Corsair CV models and Contour models. There are others more expensive 750/850/1000/1200 models, but things start getting quite pricey.
The 3 options I am considering are below. Any issues with them?

Corsair CX650 650W 80 Plus Bronze ATX Black PSU
Corsair CX750 750W 80 Plus Bronze ATX Black PSU
Cougar GX-S 750 80Plus Gold 750W ATX PSU Black

Many thanks

Solution
I am using PUNCH TECHNOLOGY website. The lower options are

Contour 500W High Efficiency ATX PSU

Contour 650W High Efficiency ATX PSU

Corsair 450W CV Series CV450 PSU, Sleeve Bearing

Corsair CV650 650W 80 Plus Bronze PSU ATX Black PSU

Then it goes on to the Corsair CX650W etc (as per the list I put on earlier).

Edit....found --- Corsair RM550x 80 plus Gold Full Modular which is higher up the price range --- its getting to near top of my budget though

A decent 550 watt model would easily support your build. If you're planning ahead for future upgrades you could use more. Any other options besides what you listed? What website are you using?

I dont mind goin over 550w etc, to 650/750 as long as it will be a reliable PSU.

I looked at the options there. I'd stick with the CX650 as a better quality model over the CV and I never even heard of Contour Brand PSU's.

Ok thanks. I did find another site with better PSU, but due to Coronavirus etc they are having a backlog with some parts, and as I would prefer a Ryzen 5 5600x it would be a quite a wait. As long as the CX650 will do, and is reasonable/stable/reliable, then I will most probably go with that. The options on Punch arent that great for PSU options, though the other build parts they have are fairly good selection.
Thanks for yr help and advice

also I have an ANTEC 550W TRUE POWER CLASSIC 550 80 PLUS GOLD in my old PC. Would it be worth keeping that and putting it into my new PC at a later date? I got it about a year ago, when I upgraded to a GTX 970 AMP Extreme, and had a crappy little PSU which couldnt cope.

Not sure how you got a True Power Classic only a year ago. It's quite an old model, good for its time though. A new power supply for a new rig is the way I'd go. If the Antec still works it might be handy to have around as a spare.
