So I have a max budget of $100, and I'm looking for a simple, cherry mx red keyboard preferably without rgb but rgb is ok if the keyboard sounds good. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
A bit over your budget but worth the extra cost I think https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?c=171&l=product_list Plenty of color options, classic look, great keycaps and solid built.
Anther option =Y&s[short_desc]=Y&s[full_desc]=N&s[sku]=Y&s[match]=all&s[cid]=0&s[search]=KBParadise+VX80]https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=search_list&s[title]=Y&s[short_desc]=Y&s[full_desc]=N&s[sku]=Y&s[match]=all&s[cid]=0&s[search]=KBParadise+VX80

Keychron makes some nice looking models, with Gateron switches which I like better than MX

This is hotswapable so you can pop out the switches and replace them with another type easily. Would probably be my choice for a TKL model...

Where are you located and what is your preferred site for purchase? Pretty much all peripheral makers(Corsair and their ilk) make (gaming)keyboard's with Cherry switches. Are you also looking for a TKL or a standard layout keyboard?

California, and preferably TKL, but the full size version is fine

https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Blu...-Backlight/dp/B0875XLQ1V?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

Cheaper no hotswap keys, single light
https://www.amazon.com/Keychron-Mec...00AGZ4P9T8X5&refRID=CMZWN6YJ00AGZ4P9T8X5&th=1

For those you probably will want to get a wrist rest since they keyboard is pretty tall.
