Hi,
I'm looking to buy a new keyboard. At the moment, I am deciding between the:
Saitek Cyborg V7 (like the USB port, macros, design, worried about typing experience, and if the metal plated keys get in the way whilest normal typing)
Saitek Eclipse 3 (Lot's of people have said good things about this keyboard, like the design, apperently keys feel nice to type one, saddened that the keys on the side are only shortcut keys and not programable macro keys (otherwise i would proably just buy this one))
Razer Lycosa (apparently the keys are really nice to type on, quality control issues? Wears out really fast? Keys stick? Poor back-lighting)
Microsoft x6 (Decent keyboard, lots of macros, only one colour backlight [red], non-removable rist-rest, detachable numpad would probably get in my way, not needed at all)
keep in mind that I sit with my keyboard in my lap all the time, never on a desk.
The most important thing to me is the typing experience, I'm leaning between the two Saiteks TBH
So a couple of questions:
1. Are the keys on the Cyborg v7 and Eclipse 3 the same? They look almost identical and are from the same manufacturer, would really like to know this
2. Does anybody own these, and what can you tell me about your experiences with them?
3. Have I overlooked some keyboards? Reccomend some more for me, but they must be ~$100, no Logitech boards please.
