Out of the two you listed the i7 machine is stronger. It has a stronger GPU although with either at best I wouldn't expect anything beyond mediums settings in games.

I would say it depends. Do they come with different screens if so is one larger or stronger then the other. Does one have a keyboard you like more. Maybe you could link the two you are considering and that could help things a little to if you would please

^+1 it really depends what your looking for...on terms of internals it appears the first one is better with the 2.5ghz processor and the 1tb hdd..
