Which laptop is best for the buck? Who makes it?

Looking for a laptop with at least 8 GB Ram, 1 Tb HD, i5 Intel CPU and 15 in screen. Found out most of the mainstream makers are discontinuing laptops in favour of super expensive laptop/tablet hybrids. Any suggestions? Choices seem to be limited to Asus, Acer, dell, and MSI.

Don't leave out Custom builds based on Clevo laptops. Sager Notebooks, XoticPc to name a few vendors.
