I am trying to decide between two laptops. Which would be a better buy, (at comparable pricing)? I’ll be using it for everyday use, (iTunes, Word, Audacity, etc.) but also for frequent Any Video Converter Pro & Corel VideoStudio Pro and so it will need to be able to handle 10gb+ files for editing, converting, downloading, rendering, special effects, etc.

Option 1:
A used, excellent condition HP Pavilion 15T-AB200 laptop
15.6” with 1920 X 1080 IPS Touchscreen
6th generation i7 -6500u CPU @ 2.60GHz.
Intel HD Graphics 520 & NVIDIA GeForce 940M Video card.
16GB DDR3 memory.
1TB fast Hybrid drive with 16GB SSD Cache.

Option 2:
A New HP Pavilion Notebook 15-cc060wm
15.6" with 1366x768 Touchscreen
7th Generation Intel i7-7500U 2.7GHz
Intel HD graphics 620
12GB DDR4
1TB HDD

Thank you so much for any thoughts or suggestions; I need to make a decision ASAP as some sales end 8/14.

If you need the laptop for video editing, there is no point in buying something that's 1366x768 resolution, no matter how good the specifications are.

Options 1 sounds to be a much better deal here.

Or you can consider some Ryzen-5 laptop, like HP Envy x360.

This will outperform both the laptops in all almost all scenarios.
