hp pavilion 2.4 GHz MD Quad-Core A8-6410 APU A-Series Quad-Core A8 or hp pavilion 4th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-4210U mobile processor. I use microsoft excel and powerpoint very often.
Thank for the response. The intel core i5 is a 1.7 Ghz, while the amd is 2.4 ghz, does thats will influence the overall performance of the computer on the long-run(3-5 years)?
these days Ghz isn't an exact measure of speed in comparison. The Intel and AMD processors have quite a few differences. I would still go with the i5 and it should last you a long time.
This should really be in the laptop section. But anyway while I am an AMD guy, the i5 is a far better processor for productivity applications (the A series processors are meant to be more multimedia based), and also in general that i5 is faster overall than the AMD.
