So I have two options for buying a laptop.

Option 1:

Dell Precision 5510

i7 6th gen (6820hq)

16gb ram

512 ssd

4k display

Option 2:

Asus

AMD Ryzen 3500u

8gb ram

256gb ssd

1080p display

OK, now i don't know what GPU does Dell have, either quadro 1000M or gtx 960m according to google, which is better than vega 8

I want to do some light gaming(valorant and some other games) now should i go for dell or amd. Dell is quite appealing due to more ram, storage and especially that 4k display on the other hand if it has quadro gpu which is quite weak in comparison to vega 8 and also i can not run Windows 11 on the Dell, unlike the Asus.

This should be good, might want to lower the resolution a bit. also it's Quadro M1000M which have 512 shader instead of 640 shaders like GTX 950M. Should perform lower than 950 abit since the physical shader cores is less than a 950m, and driver is not intended for games so might get a little performance drop. Also if this laptop is a used one, make sure to re paste the laptop and clean the heatsinks/fins and you're good to go :D

Option 2:

Asus

AMD Ryzen 3500u

8gb ram

256gb ssd

This is also okay, but make sure its upgradeable to 16gigs (2x8gb, so no 4gb soldered, must be 8gb soldered etc.). But Vega 8 isn't...

But Vega 8 isn't that much performer as my friend have this kind of laptop and upgraded it onto 2x8gb ddr4 3200mhz (8gb 3200mhz soldered + 1 stick) and it plays pretty "ok" for valorant and csgo (remember, this is Zen+ cpu + vega 8)
