Which laptop should I buy?

Hello!
I can't decide which laptop I should buy for uni and maybe a bit gaming (but it's not the most important thing).
Both laptops are nearly the same, here are the biggest differences:

1) Intel® Core™ i5-8250U
Intel® UHD-Graphics 620
2TB HDD, no SSD
12GB RAM

2) AMD A12-9720P
Radeon 530
1TB HDD, 128GB SSD
8GB RAM

Both are the Lenovo IdeaPad 320
What do you think, which one is better? The SSD is an advantage, but maybe the i5 is more powerful.

Assuming you're going for the economics that has some physics that is applied to it, the Intel one. 4C/8T is decent enough for simple MATLAB use.

Assuming you're going for the advertising side of economics, probably neither. I'd recommend a Yoga or the ThinkPad dialect and an Active Pen for Photoshop use and creation of ads.

For your traditional business, probably neither. Just go with a cheap and thin ThinkPad for the regular document typing.
