Which laptop should i buy?

Is the extra cost worth it for intel i5 8300h and gtx 1060 over gtx 1650 with ryzen3550h

The GTX 1060 6gb is more powerful than the 1650.

And the i5 8300h is faster speed and has better single core performance for gaming than the Ryzen 3550h.

So the i5 with 1060 system is the better choice for gaming.

However, that laptop you linked is actually a 9300h which is slightly better than the 8300h.

But in the flip side, the AMD laptop has a 120hz display which if you are willing to play at lower graphic settings to get higher framerate it will be smoother.

But honestly 60hz with vsync is perfectly fine and I would personally go for the system with the better graphics card for better graphics at 60fps

I would say the extra performance for the hardware is about $100 worth yes.
So if you're asking if the price difference is fair for what your getting then the answer is yes.

If you're asking if the performance is all that important to you then I cannot answer that since that would be a personal question you should be asking yourself.
