I have officially came down to Three Laptops that I like. I am preparing for college, but my need to have a killer laptop is raging.
I like the MSI GS43VR, the GIGABYTE Aero 14 (14wv6 not 14wv7), and the sager np6852 that I'm going to customize through xotic pc.
I would like opinions on all of these and suggestions for other laptops will be appreciated.

I think that dell 7567 with a 4k panel could be a good laptop for editing/gaming

Well 1250 is my actual budget. But I usually find my way around such as eBay or refurbished. Gigabytes battery is where I like it, but it's a problem because price is high and nothing changes on eBay. And what do you mean by apps? What my primary use is for?

do you use it for gaming? cad? photo editing?

i use it for editing, games, and school

Given that your budget is around 1200 and your needs include gaming, you can look out for ASUS ROG Strix GL702VM-DB74

GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB
Intel Core i7 6700HQ (2.60 GHz) (Turbo to 3.5 GHz)
16 GB Memory 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD 256 GB M.2 SATA III SSD
17.3" Full HD 1920 x 1080 G-SYNC Display
Triple-copper thermal module and triple cooling fans
1 x HDMI 2.0 Port, 1 x mini Displayport
802.11ac Wi-Fi 2x2, Bluetooth 4.1
1 x USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen 2)
1 x Headphone-out and Audio Combo Jack
1 x RJ45 LAN Jack
Powerful battery rated 76 WHrs, 4-cell Li-ion Battery Pack
Illuminated Chiclet Keyboard

Doesn't have huge battery time but its biggest turn-on is GTX 1060.
