Which laptop should I get?

Hey guys,

I'm currently torn between two laptops that are relatively similar.
The first laptop I am looking at is an Acer Swift 3 model and the other is an Asus Aspire model.

Specs (Acer):
- Processor: Intel Core i5-7200U

School and home. So need one that is fast and reliable. The Acer is also full metal where's the Asus is mostly plastic so I'm also worried about durability.

The price difference isn't too bad.. About a $100 price difference (60 USD)

The second laptop is better because the core i5 8250U that comes in the a ASUS laptop is a newer generation and it has 4 cores and 8 threads and the core i5 7200U has only 2 cores and 4 threads
