which laptop to buy????????

i am looking for a new laptop and am stuck between the razor blade 14 and the macbook pro 15 retina. First of let me tell you what i'll be using it for:
1) programming
2)photo editing
3)video editing
4)surfing and video watching
5)gaming
6)presentation and document work

i know another cheap laptop may do but they won't last me 4 years(and i need the power too). i want the lappy i buy to last atleast 4 to 5 years of my college time. they both will be costing the same to me i.e. 2200$.they both have similar thickness and similar weights too. the configuration is as follows:

macbook pro(refurbished):
1)i7 haswell turbo boost to 3.2ghz
2)16 gb ram
3)512gb ssd
4)nvidia 750m 2gb gddr5
5)mac os x mavericks
6)2880 x 1800 resolution ips

razer:
1)i7 haswell turbo boost to 3.2ghz
2)8gb ram
3)128 gb ssd
4)nvidia 870m 3gb gddr5
5)windows 8.1
6)3200 x 1800 resolution ips touch

battery life won't be such an issue if they both can last for around 5 hrs. games i'll play will be battlefield 4, titanfall etc. at medium settings to get high fps. i cannot decide between the two at all. PLEASE HELP ME and give reasons too...also i prefer os x mavericks but windows is fine with me too.HELP!!HELP!!HELP!!

That razer is a killer laptop.. that being said i think they are both over priced and you can get something better for a little bit cheaper i'd look for companies that'll let you, set and customize the laptop to how you want it personally..

-there is, many different pros and cons to the laptops you listed, and you could spend days comparing.. it all comes down to what you are going to manly be using it for, Gaming,Programming,work,portability,editing ect, personally thats what comes down to as the biggest factor for what you chose!

If you are comparing the two, it's a no-brainer to go with Razer, in my opinion. Unless you are plan on using Mac's software then go with the Mac. Gaming and performance wise, Razer dominates the Macbook pro.
