need a new laptop for uni. All ill be using on it is probably musescore, ableton live, fruity loops(not all at once) netflix, internet etc. But hey if I can load up south park stick of truth ill be happy, wishful thinking i know. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/laptops/ http://cdn.msy.com.au/Parts/notebook.pdf buying from either of these 2 places. id say budget probably 500 but if stick of truth can be played well i can get up a little bit but if i can play stick of truth on like a cheaper laptop well im all for that

Solution
My basic advice would be to look out for anything with the following processors:

AMD A8 or A10 seriese (these are great as they are quad core and include quite decent graphics, certianly enough for Stick of Truth).

Intel Core i3
Intel Core i5

The i3 and i5 are probably both a bit faster than the AMD 'A' parts for general stuff, and Intel's integrated graphics on these is a lot better than it used to be (I think it should manage stick of truth ok). The AMD is the better option for graphics performance for sure though.

Things to avoid:
AMD A6, A4 and 'E' seriese parts (these are all dual core or low performance quad cores with weak graphics, their cheap but I don't think worth the money).

Intel 'Pentium', 'Celeron' and 'Atom'...

I wouldn't worry to much about ram as long as it's got 4gb (as laptop ram is easy to upgrade and doesn't cost too much).

Hope that helps!
