Question Which Laptop to buy ?

Dear members,
Kindly help me to choose a gaming laptop to buy. I am buying the laptop mainly for gaming and some 3d applications like blender. I have sorted out the models. You can also suggest me a different model from your perspective.

1. MSI GP76 Leopard 11UG-609IN

All the above mentioned models are having almost same specs except the refresh rate and some ups and lows. I am looking for something which is best for the gaming and 3D applications. And also provide good value for the money. All three having somewhat close ranged pricing point too. That's why it's becoming tough for me to choose. Requesting all the members to provide your valuable input. Thanks in advance.

Hey there,

Well the GP76 is a 1080p panel. The other two are 1440p. So if a better res screen suits your needs, then the 1440p might be the way to go (crisper, clearer picture)

There's also a difference in port types. So if connectivity is important then that's something else to look at.

The GP76 also doesn't specify which speed the ram runs at. The other two have 3200mhz listed for ram speed. I would assume given they are the same processor that the GP76 is running 3200mhz too.

In terms of performance, given all use an 11800h/RTX30370 combo, performance for the most part will be the same.

Thank you so much for the reply. But is does 1080p gaming looks bad on the laptop ? What are the tgp for these 3070s ? What I found is the tgp for GP is 140w and the TGP for GE is 140w. But, for GS it is 95W. The RAM speed is same for all the three laptops.

In that case, I'd go with the GE66. It has a higher TGP GPU which means higher base/boost clocks the 95w versions. Also the 66 has the higher 1440p panel.

Even I thought the same to go with GE66. But, in my country the price difference between GP76 and GE66 is about Rs 30990. Does it still sounds good in terms of price to performance perspective? I mean , is it okay to pay extra for 1440p panel ??

Oh, My apologies. I thought you said they were all similar in price. If the difference is 30990 rupees (approx €360) then I would not pay that just for the 1440p panel.
