AMD cpu's are just not as efficient as intel's, not to say there is anything wrong with them, you just have to look beyond GHZ and core count.
AMD is like a 5000lb 60s muscle car with 300hp going against a modern turbo 4cyl with 280hp.
Sure if you just look at horse power it sounds promising, but when you look at all the variables like body weight, transmission gearing, and suspension it paints a very different picture.
