[SOLVED] Which legit RGB strips are compatible with an X470-Pro?

Hi all,

Contemplating adding a couple of RGB/LED strips to my build - ASUS Prime X470-Pro.

Unfortunately, RGB is not my strong suit at all - and I'm really not clear on what's compatible.

If I try to narrow it down on the Aura compatibility list, it would appear they're not addressable etc...

And the spec page doesn't help much:

The manual tells me:

The RGB header supports 5050 RGB multi-color LED strips (12V/G/R/B) with a maximum power rating of 3A (12V), and no longer than 3m

So, while the answer appears obvious.... Get 3A 5050 strips <3m in length.... most of what I can find appear to be poor quality knock-off, unbranded strips.

This CableMod strip would appear to be correct, but I wanted to get a second opinion...

I can't narrow down the compatibility to the board, specifically though.

The cablemod kits are all listed as "addressable", when the Aura compatibility tab stops mentioning the X470-Pro when 'addressable' is selected?

The Cable Mod website has both RGB and addressable RGB LED Strips. But the only ones that are listed as AURA compatible are the Addressable RGB ones.

That MB doesn't support addressable RGB LED Strips, just Ordinary 12v, 4 pin. Any like that would work, I used some ordinary ones with home made adapter.
