Which Linux Distro for Video Editing?

I have the following system:

CPU: AMD Phenom II 965 BE @ 4.20Ghz
RAM: G.Skill 16GB DDR3
GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon 260x 1GB

I currently work on Windows 7 and i want to dual boot linux to work on Davinci Resolve for video editing. Is there any distro of Linux that takes full advantage of system resources and its favoring software performance?

Ubuntu Studio is your option, IMO

Pick any distrobution you want. They will all perform roughly the same.
