Greetings

I've been googling for the past 2 hours and I just can't figure out which card would be best for my "slim" TV-top PC(which I would like to use for gaming aswell as media playback).
It would seem I have a choice between FX5200 series cards, Radeon 9200s and Radeon 9600SE...

If you know of any other solutions I'd greatly appreciate the feedback.

Thanks!

Radeon9100 maybe? 9600np? GF4Ti4200? these are cheap and solid cards.. especially Ti4200, it should be able to last for a while
no SE cards, no FX below 5700, they are not good choice

I wasn't aware that there was a low profile implementation of the TI4200 chipset, could you perhaps tell me which manufacturer makes one?

FX5200 might not be a bad choice. Theres alot of different types of FX5200 cards. I was noticing that the FX5200 Ultra is actually clocked higher then the FX5700 non-Ultra which is suprising I thought. Some cards you may also find at pretty cheap prices are the FX5600 and especialy the FX5600XT cards.

Thanks for the reply, Vimp.
I don't really mind how much the card costs, I'm trying to put together the fastest low profile system I can.
The fastest card I have been able to find in low profile size has been the Elsa Gladiac 628LP which is a Geforce 4 TI4200, but I have not seen anything faster than that in the smaller form factor.

I've heard lots of good things about the G4 Ti4200 so if thats what your looking at then you probably can't go wrong with that. However a word of warning. The brand you mention certainly isn''t a popular brand so if you can you may wanna look for a more well known brand.

Please people, I need to know the make of the card. I'd buy a Radeon 9800 if I could find one that is low profile sized (ie will fit in my PC).
