Hello,

I have a pentium III 550 with an abit be-II motherboard. I am only running 64 megs of 66mhz ram. I need to upgrade to 128megs of 100mhz ram. What would be the best kind of ram to get for my computer.

Thanks in advance.

I went to crucial's website and they seem to only sell vendor specific RAM, does this matter, cause I have a custom built system (ie I didnt buy through a vendor)

You should be able to get the correct RAM wen you search to match your motherboards from Crucial's site.

Definitely not get PC133 if you are planning to go use this stick on your next computer upgrade because the next computer upgrade is DDR!

No, that shouldn't be the reason now, but main reason should be price, at least here in Norway, pc133 ram is now cheaper than pc100.

Mushkin memory is the best memory around. It even comes in this space age air sealed pillow. Honestly you can't find anything better around.
