Hi I am looking for help in choosing a board. I want to over clock with the E2160. I see that allot of people are raving about the Gigabyte ....DS3L. However I am looking for a micro ATX. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GA-G33M-S2L LGA 775 Intel G33, yes this look like a good board. Lot of ability to upgrad in the future. Any idea how it will over clock? This is the big factor for me overclockabilty..

Thanks

Micro-atx boards arent good for overclocking because they have onboard video. Overclocking your cpu overclocks your onboard video. Thats why they dont overclock well.

Thanks for the heads up. I might as well change my plans right now.

In comparision to other pcb's, MrsBytch is correct.
I got my E8400 overclocked (400x9) 3.6GHz solid. (See my config on the left) I could do (456x8) 3.648GHz. Above 456 or 3.65-(1.25V) it was unstable. I didn't fully explore all freq, mult, voltage combos to move beyond that. Onboard GPU could be the restrictive item regardless of what you do there.

So would this be considerd a 20% overclock?

Yes what I am seeing is 50% and more but nobody is taking about doing this with a micro ATX board.
