So, I'm looking for a midtower case.
I'm currently on the verge of ordering the NZXT Phantom 820 and I was wondering if I could go for something a bit smaller.
My specs are:
Asus P8z77-V Deluxe
2x EVGA GTX680 FTW 4GB in SLI
32gb G.Skill X Series @1800mhz
i7 2600k
Corsair HX850w
Cooler Master HAFX (I really don't like this case anymore, personal preference)

Other stuff includes
2x 3.5inch HDD
2x 2.5in SSD
1x Blu-ray Optical
1x DVD optical
1x fan controller
Creative Fatal1ty soundcard

Oh and my current system is water cooled, I have a Koolance reservoir/pump, a 3x120mm radiator and the rest of what you need.
I'm switching over to Air cooled for a little while, but I'm going straight back to Water Cooling once I can afford the new GPU blocks + new tubes and fans (I like to change the appearance of my case, in terms of colour etc)

I have my eye on a case, but I doubt it will fit everything. The Fractile Design R4 really appeals to me, but that is about it.
Soo.... What would be a good case that I can work with?
If there aren't any good cases, then I'll stick with the NZXT Phantom 820 :)

you really overspent on your hardware.

-680s are no faster than 670s or 7970s
-why the deluxe when the pro has the same features
-32gb of ram is total overkill for almost every task.
-if you were working, i7s make sense
-a 30 dollar asus sound card performs better than that fatal1ty stuff

case wise, the R4 would be perfect. if you are going to go watercool in a case, the phantom 820 is a better choice. the R4 is all air cooling

you can try for a haf xm if you want its smaller and can fit a 3x120mm rad in top but the rest of it is eh. C70 vengeance, 650D, & 600t from corsair are nice cases. A little smaller and practicably the same as the 820 is the switch 810 also $70 less.

If I am not mistaken the NZXT Phantom 820 is an ATX Full Tower Computer Case.

So, as you´re considering a smaller one, then have a look at NZXT Phantom 410, which is truly a ATX Mid Tower Computer Case, tough your system deserves the NZXT Phantom 820.

Firstly, in regard to my 'overspending'
- I grabbed the 680's for cheaper than a 670
- I managed to get the Deluxe at the same price as the Pro
- I grabbed 32gb because it was also cheap, and If I'm potentially water cooling my ram, it would be far easier to have 4 slots filled
- I am working, I don't just use my PC for gaming, I will be doing a lot of video editing, modelling and programming next year at uni
- I was given the fatl1ty card with a Fatal1ty headset.

In regards to the case, I absolutely love the R4, but since I'm only going to be air cooling for about 3-6 months, I don't see any point in having to buy a second case. I do plan on going back into watercooling, so I don't think it's the safest option.

Thanks for your input :)

I'm going to look into the 600t, It's quite a nice case!

ok then

if you are going to water cool it, id just go back to a phantom 820 or a switch 810
