[SOLVED] Which mobo is the best of two options

Hello All

I have googled around for a bit but can't find a conclusive answer

These are the contenders:
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
or
Asrock H87 Performance

I am leaning towards the 97 as it has m2 sata slots

I have both in my possesion so price is no factor
Just looking for best performance/ utilities
cpu is i7 4790
pc is used for gaming primarely

Gaming wise there would be no difference as the i7-4790 is a locked CPU however considering the Z97 is newer it would probably be the one I'd use for that CPU.
