[SOLVED] Which mode is best for a PC that has an optical drive, HDD and SSD?

Solution
Which mode is the best?
IDE or AHCI or RAID
I want all my devices to be working, and at maximum performance.

I'll be using Windows 7 HP (x64).

Ide is for older drives. Its there for backwards compatibility

Ahci is by far the most common and portable between systems.

Raid is usually proprietary to the chipset and once the drive is put in raid mode moving it to another computer data intact is hard if not impossible. Raid does come with benefits like data redundancy and faster speeds with 2 or more drives.

You cannot go from ahci to raid or back once you install windows. Windows will crash and burn if you do so because its drivers will load the wrong binaries. There might be a way around this but heck if i know the hack.
