Which Modem should I buy?

I am confused and I know nothing about networking.. so I want to ask you guys which modem would you prefer.. I have 3 companies available for modems..
1.Netgear
2.D-Link
3.Belkin

I play lot of online games..mostly online.. and I want wifi modem also.. so which one would you prefer.. and I think ADSL2+ would be also included..

Eh.. That Netgear router is costly and would go out of my budget.. I was asking.. Would this Netgear N300 Modem/Router would do the job? I play online games like counter strike..

And would be there any problem while using this with my BSNL connection(my ISP)..?

And one more thing.. Right now I am having a problem in my current modem that when I connect my PC(win 8.1) with modem through LAN, sometimes it does not work.. Like the lan cable connected to the modem starts its LED lights turning on and off and on and off.. While when the LAN is working on my PC the LEDs on both(modem n PC) stays on.. Why is this happening?

Then you need to give us a budget and any other constraints eg where you want to buy from - at least the country

I have the DGN2200 modem/router. It's OK - not fast and not dual band though.

My dgn2200 cost twice that when I bought it.

On flipkart there's no other modem/routers under 4000rp that are any better than the dgn2200. So looks like the dgn2200 is your only choice

I googled it but found nothing.. Some sites have its name as DGN2200M (the antenna one) and the Flipkart link I posted has its name DGN2200(the non-antenna one) and the Antenna one has another name DGN2200 ...I am confused..

You said you have the DGN2200.. Do you have the antennas?

You have the antennas? hmm.. I just checked out the Netgear's site and saw that they displaying the non-antennas one

The antennas one cost me $43.61 while the modem/router which is on Netgear's site , the N300, would cost me $55.8 !
Which one should I buy?

EDIT: I just found one more thing.. That there are two modems with dual antennas one DGN2200 and one DGN2200M ... The DGN2200 states it is ADSL and the DGN2200M states it is ADSL2+ which one should I get? The DGN2200 is the least costly to me and then comes the N300 and then the DGN2200M is $15 more than N300

Hmmm - maybe it has internal antennae. Ask Netgear. Mine has external antennae
