Question Which monitor for gaming and productivity work? Asus PG279Q 27" 2K vs Acer Predator XB273K 27" 4K

Hello,

Which monitor will be best for gaming, graphic design, 3D design work, video editing? The Asus PG279Q 27" 2K vs Acer Predator XB273K 27" 4K?
I think the Asus is 100% RGB and 79% Adobe, not sure if its 8bit or 10 bit. The Acer is 4K but only 27" but its supposed to be 100% RGB and 100% Adobe RGB, has the spec for during video editing(forgot the term).

The Asus is only 699 dollars, the Acer is 999 dollars. Is it worth buying the Asus? or should I try to get the Acer.

I have a laptop with a i7 8750H, and a RTX 2070 non max q gpu.

I am building a desktop with will have a Ryzen or maybe Intel cpu, and a 2080Ti gpu later in the year.

the 4k monitor should be perfect with you future setup otherwise get the asus. you can play games in 4k but you'll have to lower the settings a bit.
