Which monitor? Help!!

Hi.

Looking to buy a monitor very soon. Both for many uses one being to have an extra screen including my MacBook pro screen so I can do more things, mainly use 2nd screen for extra screen realistate and code easier and occasionally watch movies on it. And sometimes when I have time to play games on it via my ps4.

So I have got 2 monitors in mind but can't decide which is the all rounder in terms of what I need it for! And how good screen quality is and build quality etc pls help!!

And why? Please also recommend any others than these!

Not really sure what the price is for UK but the Acer H236HLbid is my choice for sub $200 23-24 inch monitors. It has an IPS Panel opposed to a TN Panel. I have read good things for this monitor and might pick one up soon. For a 1080p 60Hz display games look good as well, also from reading reviews. A good IPS panel will have well implemented motion blur to compensate for the slightly higher response times , 5ms in this case, which is not bad.
