It depends on which GPU brand do you have. If you ar using AMD then go for ASUS, it has FreeSync technology which helps stabilizing framerates without the need of turning on Vertical Sync. which punches hard on GPU load and framerates also. On the other hand, if you use Nvidia, go for Dell. It's a monster monitor for its price ;)

Both of these monitors are almost identicall
So at this point pick the brand which you feel more comfortable with but note that the Asus MG278Q have GameVisual :6 Modes(Scenery/Racing/Cinema/RTS/RPG/FPS/sRGB Modes)
but the dell one fetures more USB 3.0 ports and a headphone jack

Despite the free sync/g sync

Which one is better??

Cant the Dell one be customized to be like that Asus ? I dont think that these modes are worth it cause I will be playing games like gta v, lol, black ops 3,city car driving (dont judge :p),bf4, forza, dirt ETC

To sum up things
Again both of these two monitors are almost identical
same resolution
same screen size (27 Inches)
same refresh rates
same response time
same viewing angle
same britness
same contrast ratio

BUT....
The ASUS monitor have a DVI-D input port that the DELL dosen't have while the DELL have two more USB 3.0 ports in its hub and a 1 x Audio line-out, 1 x Headphone port so you can use its built in speakers to listen to music or your in game sounds directly from your monitor without having to reach to the back of the case to plug in your headset which the ASUS monitor doesn't have
