Which monitor is better?

I want to get the best from both performance and quality while getting a bang for the buck.

They are going to be very similar, so the less expensive one.

Both are basically the same based on specs. The Acer is slightly older.

Even if you don't get the $20 rebate, the Asus will still be cheaper. It also has built-in speakers, so if your speaker die you can use them as backup in a pinch.
