As previously suggested, if gaming at 1080p it's better to stay with a 24"-25" monitor. The image quality tens to look less sharp when trying to run 1080p at 27".

What gpu do you have? If you have a 3900x on an x570 motherboard I'd suggest trying to save up and get a good 1440p monitor.

I Had only 310 to spend I was currently trying to go for the msi 240 because it had a higher hz then the AORUS CV27F 27" that had only165 hz but like you said Dynamic Contrast Ratio on the msi is lower then the Aorus .Aorus was 4something and msi 3something.So I did know which one was better but which one on that detail would you guys had pick? Also not going to lie for some reason my eye really get more strain with a smaller tv like a 24 or 25 I get better time with out hurting with 32 and up so I had choose a 27.I will be getting a 1440 but didn't see one with high hz and that matters a lot because I am very competitive and was currently ask to join two different team to play for. Also wanted to get a clear answer the contrast ratio deal with how high the screen can go or how dark?

When it comes to contrast ratio there are 2 different types that will be thrown out, dynamic and static. Dynamic contrast ratio is basically meaningless and should be ignored. Static contrast ratio is the one that matters as that measures the ratio during actual usage. IPS displays will be around 1000:1, TN around 1000:1 with a good TN display, VA around 3000:1.
