LG 22MP68VQ vs BenQ GW2480

With which monitor should I go with? My main purpose is coding and programming. I sit like 40 - 45 cm from the monitor. These are the pretty much my only choice in terms of monitors availability in the market and budget.

Both the LG 22MP68VQ and BenQ GW2480 are excellent budget monitors. You will notice a lot of similarities in terms of display and colors as the panel on BenQ GW2480 is manufactured by LG only. Now the only thing you need to decide here is whether you want a 21.5" or a 23.8" monitor.

Moreover, I would also suggest you to check out HP VH240a once, it's a decent IPS panel that offers sufficient adjustment options such as tilt, height, and pivot in the same price range which LG and BenQ miss out. I've seen a lot of programmers using their monitors in portrait mode while dealing with a long line of codes. So, if you also need that portrait adjustment, then consider buying the HP VH240a.
