Which monitor to use?

I'm building my own computer, but as I am a novice and this is my first time, I run into trouble fairly frequently. In this case, I am confused as to what monitor to use. I am on a budget so I am looking I'm looking for one with the greatest bang for the buck. Currently, I am considering the AOC G2460PQU. Is this a good choice considering my PC primary uses will be graphics, programming, and gaming? Are there any additional factors I need to consider or any issues that could arise from compatibility?

AOC G2460 PQU is great.

But i'll prefer VG248QE ASUS
