Which monitor/TV should I get.

Don't get a TV unless watching video is your primary concern. The monitor you picked is also out of consideration because it doesn't have a VESA mount and will be an absolute pain to mount to a wall without it. You'll need something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236295 instead, and then make sure your VESA mount support that specific mount size. Dell also has a nice selection of VESA mount compatible monitors.

You also shouldn't need to monitor temperatures ever, since that is 100% a diagnostic measure and not something you should be concerned with at all times (your computer isn't a nuclear power station, it's a computer, treat it like one). Why not consider getting a single monitor of better quality...
