I like both of these, just kind of looking for the one that will last me for the long run. I am happy with the 1080p, I think at the moment 1440p with all G sync are over priced and it needs to work out it kinks. So far the Acer is the one I am leaning towards, it 27 inch 1080p with G sync 1ms something that is on my list for a monitor. but the price getting to me ha ha. Then on the other hand we got Asus at 1080p with 24 inch screen but it don't have G sync and the G sync is something I was looking forward too. On the other hand Asus dose have HDMI and Display Port and Speakers etc.... Little more features for multi use for Xbox or PS 3/4 which is nice. As of now I am using a 50 inch Samsung TV for a monitor it burning the eyes. But the same time I can use the Samsung tv for the multi use. Basically it comes down to the price, is worth the little more and be happy with the g sync or go with Asus multi features?

I own the ASUS VG248QE Black 24 and I love it. The 144 Mhz really shows up in my games. That being said the other has G-sync which is HUGE and will be huge. If you are wanting to go with a g-sync monitor the BEST one out there is this

I wouldn't own a 27in monitor without 2560 x 1440 support. The ROG swift is a beast and has beaten the ACER one in every review i have seen mainly due to the 1440 support and quality.

That something I been looking at but don't know if I can spend 800 for monitor that seems to be having trouble with it quality. Seeing reviews of dead pixels and bleeding of the screen with bad customer experience.. I been watching this since the idea came out with the 1440p. Just sucks to see a bad start, plus the PRICE tag $800 might wait for it to come down a bit... don't know.

Asus comes with a dead pixel warranty with it. I haven't read too much about colour bleeding once you calibrate it, which you should be doing with any monitor you get anyway.

I guess here is a quesiton, do you want/need g-sync?

It something I been looking forward too so yah, just don't think it worth the price. I guess I will just sleep on it. Maybe wait to see what other company's do. Top price is at 600. Question is would you wait and get the big dog or just get something that will work for now.

The VG248QE is the one i have been running as i said and it is well worth the price. Very solid. It is going to be at least 6 months before enough manufacturers start putting out their own gsync monitors really to affect the price any, all are going to be high since it is the newest technology.

For me, g-sync is a strong want now but not a NEED. If you are going to wait, get a cheaper monitor and put the extra into savings. There may be some 24 inch g-sync out soon too, right now only 27 inch and as i said i won't go with a 27 unless i'm getting the higher resolution.

Good luck and make sure you choose the best solution available on your issue.

Thank you for conversation , I think I will go with 27 inch g sync just cause I want it some what big and at the same time better then a 50 inch tv ha ha and just wait for a year and upgrade. Maybe by then might catch it in its prime.
