What monitor are you coming from?

What are you using the monitors for? Gaming? Video editing? Working?

If it’s gaming then the 240hz monitor is if your a serious gamer, you need all the frames you can get. The jump from 60hz to 144hz is a HUGE difference, but less people can tell the difference from 144hz to 240hz, so if your more casual and want the higher resolution for sniper shots then go for the 144hz monitor. Then there’s the price: 1440p 144hz monitors tend to be more expensive than 1080p 240hz monitors.
