Hi,

I'm about to get a RX 6800XT (if I get my hands on it) but I need a new monitor (no displayport). I'm looking for 144HZ monitor 24 inch 1080 or 27 inch 1440 (not sure which is best yet, if any of you have a recommendation).

I need a monitor with a fast response rate, as I currently run a TN monitor with 1ms response time, I don't like the whole idea of ghosting on VA panels and slow response time/heavy glow on IPS displays.
I'm not scared of VA or IPS but it seems you need to find the right monitor to not have these issues.

Anyone has recommendations on good monitors (VA/IPS) with little known ghosting/slow response times?

Solution
The LG27GL850 is an IPS panel monitor that looks to have one of the best response times. Otherwise the ASUS PG279Q still seems to be held in high regard.

Though I'd argue that response time in gaming grade monitors is largely a moot point. Any blurring you see is more likely due to natural eye motion blurring from displays using Sample and Hold.

As far as IPS glow, that's only a problem if you're viewing primarily dark content in a dark room. Pictures you see of IPS glow tend to be exaggerated because of the conditions they were taken under. Also people can mistake backlight bleed for IPS glow.
