Which mont. should I buy?

I am looking to upgrade my 19' ViewSonic 922 to one of these posted below unless there is a better 22' on the market.

I mostly use my computer for gaming and general app use.

The Samsung 226BW is arguably one of the best 22" LCD monitors available. In fact it won against 8 other 22" LCD monitors in the following article:

However, there are now three different version of the Samsung 226BW. Types S, A, and C in order of introduction. Therefore you are playing a "panel lottery" because you don't know which one you are getting until you inspect the sticker on the back of the monitor. There have been many threads about this lottery. Such as the following:

Some people who have compare 2 of the 3 panel types side-by-side have stated that the original "S panel" is the best. The "A panel" is the middle ground, and finally "C panel" is the worst of the bunch.

You may be better off playing it safe and get the Viewsonic.
