QUESTION:
My question is which motherboard would fit all my current specs and be able to fit inside my case. For price range im looking around £50 tiny bit more or less if possible. i have tried finding an original mother board but they are out of stock or they are extremely expensive to the point where it could be the same price as the pc itself. I am now looking to see if there are any alternative motherboards that will do the job.

Thanks for all the help in advance!

CURRENT SPECS:
PC: stock Acer aspire xc - 105
CPU: AMD A4 5000 / 1.5 GHz (Quad-Core)
RAM: 8GB DDR3
IMAGE OF MOTHERBOARD:

IMAGE OF BIOS CHIP:

REASON FOR NEW MOTHER BOARD:
I wanted to update the BIOS because my pc had problems with hardware reserving more than half of the ram installed even though it worked perfectly before i had this issue. So i went to the Acer website and found the latest update for BIOS and downloaded it to my pc then followed the steps on the appendix to do the update. It told me to reboot the pc then load setup defaults in BIOS settings and save and exit. once i did this it restarted and then went to a black screen for a long time and showed no sign of movement, I then force restarted the pc which is when the problem started. Currently the pc is starting up and the cpu fan is running and i am able to open up the dvd drive however nothing else seems to be working and the monitor says no signal. since the problem started i have tried restarting it several times, i have tried resetting the bios to default by taking out the cmos battery then draining power and then putting it back in. i've also tried plugging a different screen onto the pc via hdmi instead of vga but nothing seems to be working. I think i have come to the conclusion that the BIOS has corrupted because of the interrupt.

Solution
You can build mini-itx kaby lake pentium system:
  • MSI B250I PRO
    Intel pentium g4560
    DDR4 ram
That would be significant upgrade over AMD A4, but, of course, it also costs significantly more than £50.
(~ 75eur(MB) + 50eur(CPU) + 60eur(8GB DDR4) )

Replacing motherboard + cpu of your system is basically replacing whole system. Obviously it costs almost as a new pc.
I did a quick search on the cpu a4-5000, it looks like the cpu is a bga packaged CPU, meaning it's soldered on the motherboard.

therefore i don't think you can just swap the CPU on a new board. you would need to get a new cpu/mobo if you wish to upgrade.

there is another method to recover a dead bios, but would require some handy work.

if you can identify the bios eprom chip on the motherboard.
from the picture, it should be either below the cmos battery or the chip below it ( i can't tell because the picture is quite blurry)
easiest way to find out, is to type the component part number into google and see what the chip does. it should be an eprom chip

you can desolder it, and use a compatible programmer from ebay and burn the bios directly to the chip and solder it back on.
